Halloween is just around the corner so it’s time to get the whole family and the house kitted out with some seriously spooky decorations!

We’ve planned all sorts of tricks and treats for the occasion with clever competitions and freaky fun throughout the Halloween build up and a special Halloween competition! Halloween is fun for all ages, from kids to Mums and Dads, from friends to Grandma and Grandad. It’s never too late to don the fake blood, scatter cobwebs across the bannisters, fill up the sweet bowl and try your best not to eat it all before the trick-or-treaters arrive!

We’ve been checking out the most popular adult costumes for Halloween 2013; they were Breaking Bad’s very own Walter White,  and Miley Cyrus’ questionable VMA ensemble.   Less surprisingly the most popular kids’ costumes were the Little Princess and Spiderman.   We can’t wait to find out which costumes everyone chooses this year!

To help make this the most bewitching All Hallows’ Eve ever, our Fun Friday will become Freaky Friday exactly one week before the big night. There’ll be the chance to win Hallmark goodies by simply posting the funniest caption you can think of on one of our cards, so get your creative heads on because we want to see some really wicked ideas!

And his isn’t the only way you can get involved in the Hallmark Halloween spooktacular extravaganza; we will also be hosting a very special haunted photo competition. We want to see your best, spookiest photos of your festivities; it might be a paranormal pumpkin or a gory ghost costume, it could be your most creative, home-made fancy dress yet or the most radical, repulsive Halloween feast ever! Whatever it is, you can post it in our Hallows at Hallmark app and then you’re in with a chance of winning a Halloween goody bag! The competition will launch on the 24th October and run up until the 29th October, so make be sure to get your entries in on time. We’re going to stop now – we’re scaring ourselves!
