Happy Anniversary, Wills and Kate!
Whether you slept out overnight on the streets of London to see them, or watched them on the telly in the comfort of your own home, no-one can possibly forget that glorious April day when Prince William and Kate Middleton walked down the aisle together as man and wife.
The couple tied the knot three years ago at Westminster Abbey and as their third wedding anniversary approaches, we are on hand to reveal that the third wedding anniversary is often when a couple is particularly aware of the durability of their relationship.
Leather is the traditional choice, although if you wish to be bang up-to-date, crystal is what you want.
LEATHER is durable, warm, strong, and flexible and has a sense of resilience to it, all qualities that help marriages, including that of the royal couple, continue to thrive.
CRYSTAL dazzles as the light dances off its multifaceted surfaces – a gentle reminder of how a couple in a meaningful marriage can touch the lives of others, something particularly pertinent to Wills and Kate, two people on whose heads the hopes and dreams of a nation rests.
A recent poll we carried out discovered that all candidates asked said they would choose to mark their wedding anniversary with a card. The majority said sending a card to their other half was important because it was an opportunity to re-state their commitment and love to each other.
Emma Bragg, Head of Emotion over here at Hallmark explained: “When going about our busy day-to day lives it’s easy to forget to tell your partner how you feel about them. Your wedding anniversary offers the opportunity of demonstrating your love for one another, perhaps thinking back to the day you got married and how deeply you both felt! Use this emotion to write a message from the heart.
“Since their last wedding anniversary, William and Kate have become parents; our advice to our future king would be to write that Kate is not just a wonderful wife but also a wonderful mother. We’d suggest: ‘I never thought it would be possible to love you more than I loved you on our wedding day, but seeing you with George makes me fall in love with you over and over again.’ There’s no need to worry about being poetic or overly-clever; just be honest, loving and true and write something you know your partner would love to read on your special day.”
